thoughts about the members areas

I took a look inside the members areas...

None of the videos work..just keeps saying trying to reconnect if i hit play

Another thing it would be much better if you had a page with thumbnails for each of the clips instead of have it play a clip and then have to click next..

And i know the sites are new but there doesnt seem to be much "content" inside the members areas..like only 10 scenes for each site?

Me personally i would not renew my membership in its current state and thats not because i cant get the clips to load, mainly because it seems too difficult to find what im looking for (no thumbnails) and not much content..i honestly would rather goto a mgp.. i have never seen the old members areas and if these are 100% better then the old ones i can understand why they were not converting trials.

Also the teaser videos on the join page do not work for me unless i right click goto properties and copy and paste the movie url into IE and then it launches media player and the video plays.

I havent seen any of the videos because they dont work for me..so they are not like the adultbouncer/deluxepass movies, those seem to have alot of closeup shots..thats the kind of content they need..well at least i think that type of content sells best and will keep members

You need to activate it in the linking code area..there is a link there to test out the members areas.

Like Marc said we had a problem and posted the video content/backup members areas in the meantime.

What version is you media player? So far you have described the same system I have :)

media player is set as my default on most stuff and it is set to open clips in media player instead of playing them in IE when you click a video link

The sites we did and encoded ourselves I believe are 100%.

All videos played fine for me - both on the tour and embedded inside the member's area. Windows XP Pro, I've got Real/WM/Quick installed.

I have to say that I'm really surprised. Really, really surprised.
About 10 videos and no photos or *anything* else. No way to get from clip to clip without hopping sequentially through all of them.
The tours promise things that the member's area doesn't deliver.

One ARS rep says that the rest of the content is being uploaded, another says there's been a glitch and "backup" member's areas are being used.
Either excuse is just... not acceptable. These sites are live, they're the only ones that webmasters can get linking codes for, and some traffic is being redirected to them... and they're not even finished.

It honestly looks like you guys should have waited at least another 3 days or so before going "live" with this.

I am, however, extremely excited about the new BYOT program, can't wait to see that and maybe even toss some sites into it. Or at least one in particular *wink*. You guys up for an exclusive squirting site? :D

Nothing at all worked for me at all in about 4 members areas. I have several different media players and XP.
I could see the movie thumb pics, but none would play. Very few of the chicks looked hot at all to me, I know there is more comming, but if it's like this quality of models, exclusive or not, I would not renew. Chicks all look like SkidRow Hookers. Look at some of say topbucks reality sites, they have some girl nextdoor type cuties, not babes you'd have to get plastered to screw.

Hard to believe good signups are comming in right now, people better hope their links aren't reveshare till this get's revamped.

I do not like the sequential order of things...
If you want to get to the action you have to go forward one vid at a time to get to it...if you are returning and want to get to one specific vid you have to advance slowly through until you get to the one you want...if you can remember which one it was....the whole setup sucks.
If you run it at any but ultra the vids suck at full screen
No Option to download the vid sucks for someone paying a monthly fee.....sure it can be saved easily enough from cache for anyone savvy, but most surfers get ripped off.

Great Examples of video "reality sites" that give the surfer what they pay for are a couple of my highest converting sponsors
Exploited Teens (http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi?CA=911216-0000&PA=589935) which converts for me about 1/200 with ccbill
and from the same webmaster
Exploited Moms (http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi?CA=919236-2000&PA=557917) which converts at about 1/240 And they both average a 3 month retention!
Fresh sites usually sell well early, and if MarcDe is honest in the content coming they may retain, but early design of the tours and most definately the members areas are horrible
I know we keep seeing these are not the real members areas....God I hope I'm not sending surfers to these...lol
So though ARS is mostly in bed on the beginning of the third day....when are we going to see what we are to sell?
